Angelica Maria Vale Hartman also known by her professional name Angelica Vale is a Mexican American performer, actress and radio personality. Her parents include comedians Raul Vale and Angelica Maria La Novia Mexico. In 1973, she's credited with launching the La Balada Ranchera (Ranchera Ballad) music genre that dominated the charts, making Angelica Maria the first Latin artist to have sold two million copies across the United States. In 1974, she was introduced to Venezuelan actor/comedian Raul Valle. They got married on April 25 25, 1975. This was the first live Mexican wedding to be broadcast.
